Pardeep Khariya, a passionate and experienced wrestling coach from Hisar, Haryana, has played a vital role in elevating Indian women’s wrestling to new heights. Through his consistent dedication and hard work, he has trained many young female wrestlers who have gone on to shine at national and international levels.
Pardeep Khariya is associated with the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and has been actively coaching various age-group teams of Indian wrestling over the past several years. His coaching journey began at the local level in Haryana, but due to his outstanding results and relentless efforts, he earned his place on the national coaching team.
Between 2018 and 2023, he served as a coach for the Indian wrestling team at prestigious events like the World Wrestling Championships and the Asian Championships. Under his guidance, Indian female wrestlers have brought home numerous medals and accolades. In June 2024, he was appointed as the head coach of the Indian Women’s Wrestling Team for the Under‑23 Asian Wrestling Championship held in Amman, Jordan — a proud milestone in his coaching career.
In addition to the Under‑23 team, he has also coached the Under‑17 and under‑20 women’s teams, helped shape and prepare young talent for the global stage. Pardeep Khariya’s coaching style focuses on discipline, technique, and mental toughness — all essential elements for high-level performance.
His remarkable journey has inspired youth across Haryana, particularly those aspiring to make a name in the world of sports.
