Ankit Jangir – A Journey from Struggle to Success
Born in a humble family in Saidpur village, Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, Ankit Jangir has carved his own identity in the world of boxing through sheer determination and hard work. Inspired by the values of his father Sant Kumar Jangir and mother Suman Devi, Ankit dared to dream big despite limited resources and turned those dreams into reality.
After completing his education up to 12th (Science), Ankit began his boxing career in 2017. The foundation of his journey was laid under the guidance of India’s renowned Arjuna Awardee boxer Mandeep Jangra, from whom he learned the technical and mental aspects of boxing between 2017 and 2021.
During his amateur career, Ankit achieved remarkable success:
3-time District Champion
3-time State Champion
2-time North Zone Champion
Inter-University Champion
All India University Medalist
2-time National Medalist
However, his journey was not without challenges. Facing repeated setbacks due to sports politics in India, Ankit made a bold decision along with his mentor Mandeep Jangra—to seek better opportunities abroad. While his mentor moved to the USA, Ankit shifted to Dubai to pursue his professional boxing career.
Training at Round Ten Boxing Club in Dubai under Coach Smith, Ankit worked relentlessly to elevate his performance. The initial days were extremely tough—adapting to a new country, surviving through hardships—but his perseverance paid off.
Since turning professional in 2021, Ankit has maintained an impressive winning streak:
1st Fight: Against India – Win
2nd Fight: Against Cuba – Win
3rd Fight: Against Africa (Uganda) – Win
4th Fight: Against Afghanistan – Win
Today, Ankit Jangir is not only a successful professional boxer but also runs his own physical fitness company. His journey stands as a powerful example that with strong determination and consistent hard work, no obstacle is too big to overcome.
