Dharmpal Jangid, known in the literary world by his pen name Kavi Dharmpal Dharm, was born on 24 September 1970 in Neemrana, Rajasthan. Born into a modest family, he inherited values of dedication, culture, and creativity from his parents—late Shri Murarilal Jangid and Smt. Bhagwati Devi. With the support of his wife, Smt. Babita Devi, he leads a fulfilling family life with one son and twin daughters, all three of whom are married.

Despite having formal education only up to the matric level, Dharmpal Ji carved a remarkable place for himself in literature, painting, and theatre through his talent, perseverance, and self-confidence. As a professional painter, his natural attraction toward colors, forms, and aesthetics deeply influenced and enriched his literary vision.

Kavi Dharmpal Dharm is a skilled creator of metrical verse and ghazals. His literary accomplishments are reflected in the 150+ certificates of honor he has received from various literary platforms across India. He also offers active literary leadership, serving as the National President of Srijan Sarovar Manch, General Secretary of the All India Literature Council (Neemrana Unit), and District President of Rashtriya Kavi Sangam.

His published book “Sabras” includes creative compositions based on nearly 20 traditional poetic meters, and he has contributed to eight joint anthologies. Currently, several of his works are in the process of publication, including “Nari ke Solah Shringar” (prose), “Khatu Naresh” (a play), and a Kundaliya–meter based rendition of the Bhagavad Gita.
