Shri Pritam Jangda
Political Icons — Rewari, Haryana

Shri Pritam Jangid was born into a humble family in Rewari district, Haryana. From an early age, he showed deep sensitivity towards society and a strong determination to help others. After completing his education, instead of taking up a job, he started his own small business so that he could remain economically independent while dedicating time to social service. Inspired by the ideology of Bahujan social upliftment and driven by the spirit to fight for their rights, his struggle continues to this day. In 2019, Shri Pritam Jangid also contested elections as a candidate from the Bahujan Samaj Party.

Alongside his business, he has always stayed connected with the people of both villages and towns, listening to their problems and working tirelessly to resolve them—whether by visiting government offices or approaching senior officials. His thinking has always been clear and positive—he firmly believes that “the progress of society is impossible without political power.”

His political journey began by raising local issues during Panchayat elections. Gradually, he became the voice of the youth, farmers, laborers, and women in the region. He actively participated in several movements for employment, education, healthcare, and basic amenities. On many occasions, he joined protests to draw the administration’s attention to the hardships faced by common people.

For him, politics is not merely a means to gain power, but a strong tool to bring about change in society. He attends every small and large social gathering—whether it is a wedding, a moment of grief, or a meeting of a social organization—his presence is always felt.

The life of Shri Pritam Jangid is a blend of struggle, service, and positive thinking. Even today, he continues to prioritize social service alongside his business, believing that until the last person in society receives development and justice, his fight will never stop.
