A few days ago, he was injured in a road accident while on duty and later succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Pradeep Jangra said that Vipin was the only son of his parents. A large number of people attended his funeral procession and paid their tributes. Vipin’s father, Sushil Jangra, said that he was proud of his son’s martyrdom. Vipin Jangra was given the funeral pyre by his cousins Vikas Jangra and Vansh Jangra.
The mortal remains were brought to his native village Nivaznagar in Narnaul, where he was cremated with full military honors. Vipin was the only son of his parents and was loved by everyone in the family. From childhood, Vipin Jangra had a strong passion for serving the nation.
After the accident, he had told his father, “I’m fine, don’t worry.” On June 16, after the accident, his father went to meet him at Goa Medical College. His cousins Vikas Jangra and Vansh Jangra performed the last rites. People from Nivaznagar and nearby villages came to pay their final respects. The crowd chanted “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram” slogans.
Vipin came from a military family. His father, Sushil Jangra, had served in the CRPF and retired about ten years ago. After retirement, he started a furniture shop in the village. His mother is a homemaker, and his elder sister is married.
Vipin was born in 1997 and completed his education up to 12th grade from the village school. He joined the Indian Navy in 2015 and had been serving for almost ten years. For the last two years, he was posted at the Shipyard in Goa, and had earlier served in Chennai and Mumbai.
